Service Description
Spray Tanning We use Sienna-X products to achieve a natural healthy looking tan that not only makes you look great on the outside but will also make your inner confidence glow too. Sienna-X spray tanning solution contains natural extracts to care for the skin and is also paraben and alcohol free. So not only are you giving yourself a healthy sunless tan you are also moisturising and caring for your skin at the same time! In order to get the best results from your spray tan there are a few simple preparation steps that you can follow. Pre treatment Please make sure that if you are waxing, shaving or using a hair removal method this is done 24/48 hours prior to your treatment to allow the pores to close. Moisturisers, skin lotions, deodorant and perfume all act as barriers to spray tan so we ask that you do not use these products before you tan. You will be provided a product to remove any last minute perfume or deodorant before the spray tan is applied should you have used it. Spray tan can be applied over make-up however your tan needs to be on your skin for 8- 10 hours before washing off. The best results will be on a make-up free face. However, the tan will still go through your make-up should you wish to keep it on but it will act as more of a barrier. You may wish to exfoliate before you spray tan appointment this will remove any dead skin from the body and allow a smooth tan. During your treatment You can tan in whatever feels confortable to you. Disposible knickers are supplied however if you would like to be tanned in a bikini or a strapless top this is fine. Please note that whilst every effort is made not to get tan onto your clothes this is possible so we do advice to wear dark underwear or tops that you don’t mind tan getting on. After tanning advice The tan only takes a couple of minutes to dry however we do recommend that you do NOT wear tight clothing to your appointment as this may rub the tan after its been applied. This would include socks and boots. We do recommend that you refrain from excessive exercise that may cause you to perspire or getting wet directly after a tan as this will affect the finished result. Leave your Sienna-X tan on for at least 8-10 hours before washing off. The colour you see that is being washed off is the guide colour and your wonderful developed tan will be left on your skin!
