When you are trying to find someone to do hair and make-up for a special event it can be difficult, because you want to make sure you achieve exactly the look you were seeking and, therefore, feel perfect for your occasion. Here at Bellissima Belle we aim to make you feel comfortable, calm and completely happy with the finished look whether it is for your Prom, Wedding or a night out. We are here to help.

I trained as a Hairdresser and Beauty Therapist for 2 years at college. I then went on to train in make-up at Brushstroke Make-up Academy at Shepperton Studios. There I learned stage, fashion and occasion make-up, together with prosthetics. From there I have worked in the industry on photoshoots, London Fashion Week, small magazines, television commercials and for stage. I have also worked in cosmetics for Estee Lauder and Mac. I am a perfectionist and make sure everything is done to the best of my ability. I love being able to accentuate an individual’s natural features and make them feel amazing. The reaction of Brides when they see their hair and make-up come together is something that gives me great satisfaction. Hair and make-up has been my passion since my teenage years when my dream was to own my hair and make-up business. In those early stages I would do hair and make-up for friends for bonfire processions, parties and recitals etc.

When you are preparing for an occasion, things can get hectic. I understand that, so I am here to take the stress and worry away from you getting ready. I can help Brides into dresses and complete finishing touches, clear up and slip away quietly as if I was never there, ready for you to enjoy the rest of your day.

Trials are essential for Brides and recommended for every booking to make sure you are happy with the results. If there is any alteration required this can be undertaken during the trial, to make sure you are completely happy, as this is not so easily done on the day and that is your time to relax, knowing you are in safe hands and what the end result will look like. However if you are booking for Bridesmaids or an occasion and you would rather not have a trial, I do request a picture of the people you are booking for, including the length of their hair, together with any ideas of what you would like so we can discuss what is possible before the day.

I make a range of hair accessories so if, at the time of your trial, you have not decided on a hair accessory, I will have a number of alternative styles for you to try so that you can decide how you may want to complete your look on the day. Please also see separate guidance on “Accessories”.

It is possible for you to book me for the day for make-up replenishing and a change of hairstyle for your evening. I will be happy to quote a price for this service on request.

I am able to travel to your home or chosen venue for any trial and on the day or, if you prefer, I can complete both, or one of these, at my location in Heathfield.
